UPDATE ON CLEAN AGENT FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS
We will review the history of various clean agent type suppression agents and review their applications. Comparisons to other common extinguishing agents such as pre-action sprinkler systems, discuss detection technologies that are available and where they fit within the stages of fire, provide an update of current changes in the fire protection industry emphasizing Green Sustainability comparison information and provide guidelines as to how this all integrates with various solutions for business continuity.
Chris Reimer – Business Development Manager
Chris Reimer is Business Development Manager for both Intelli-tech in Pleasanton, CA and its sister company, FPS, in Brea, CA. Prior to this, Chris was the Western Regional Manager for Fike Protection Systems and Chemetron Systems. Chris is an Alumni of the University of Wisconsin with a BA degree and has over forty years of experience in special hazards fire protection in both manufacturing and distributor/contracting. He also holds a NICET Level IV S.E.T. for Special Hazards Fire Protection and certified for Fire Alarm Systems. Chris is the current President of the SFPE-Southern CA Chapter and is currently the Secretary of the NCN-SFPE Chapter. In 2014 the International Society of Fire Protection Engineers qualified and upgraded his membership level as a Professional Member.
